Fallen Officers Ride 2014

On Sunday August 17th , KBER 101 was lucky to be a part of The Fallen officers ride from Timpanogos Harley Davidson to The State Capital. The ride is an annual tradition to raise thousands of dollars to maintain the memorial and create an emergency fund for families who lose their uniformed loved ones.

Mick & Allen helped with the hosting duties to honor those officers who gave everything to stand up for their community & lost their lives in the line of duty.

Draper Police Sgt. Derek Johnson was the 136th & Utah County Sheriff sergeant Cory Wride was the 137th to be added to Utah’s Fallen Officer wall.

Comparing the first six months of 2014 to the first six of 2013, officers shot and killed in the line of duty nationwide is up 61 percent, said Draper Police Chief Bryan Roberts.

Special Thanks to all who took part in the annual ride.
